“Heart to Heart Brings a Message”: Spring Letters Marathon

The creative competition “Spring Letters” is a project about correspondence as a space of imagination, where words and images merge into a single artistic form. The inspiration for participants was a postcard by Elizaveta Böhm — an artist whose works became an important part of the visual culture of postal communication.
Participants are invited to reinterpret the postcard’s сюжет in their own artistic style: through original characters, historical imagery, literary heroes, or fantasy worlds. The project has brought together different generations and artistic techniques — from traditional graphics to digital illustration.
The competition takes place from April 7 to May 6, 2026, in collaboration with illustrator Anna Kuznetsova and partners from the artistic community.
As a result of the project, both an online and offline exhibition will be organized in Nizhny Novgorod, where participants’ works will continue the tradition of postal art — sincere, personal, and addressed to another person.
