Spring Letters

The exhibition “Spring Letters” is a journey into the world of postcards, heartfelt messages, and artistic imagination. The project brings together works by participants of a creative competition inspired by the postcards of Elizaveta Böhm and demonstrates how the tradition of correspondence continues to live in contemporary art.

The exhibition features illustrations created in various techniques as part of the creative marathon “Spring Letters” — from traditional graphics to digital art. The works feature original characters, historical figures, literary and fairy-tale creatures, animals, and characters from popular culture. In each piece, the motif of the letter becomes a personal story about warmth, anticipation, memory, and human connection.

The exhibition presents the postcard not only as a historical artifact, but also as a source of inspiration capable of bringing people together regardless of distance and time. “Spring Letters” is a space where written lines come to life, new images are born, and the magic of handwritten messages is preserved.
